While historical research in general has focused its attention on the national political agendas of relevant actors, transnational horizons have been incorporated into the perspective of International Relations. In this way, the impact, reception and new meanings that various international conflicts had in national settings has occupied a marginal or sometimes anecdotal place. However, many actors have been mobilized and confronted in related to contexts, conjunctures and events of other latitudes: world wars, the Holocaust, the Vietnam War, the Cuban Revolution, the Cold War and the Arab- Israel conflict, among others, are events with a high level of global influence, which consequently have generated transformations in the domestic domains.

This issue of Contemporary Sociological Global Review - CSGR (eISSN 2027-7431) aims to gather a series of works that, while in the process of investigating the reception of international conflicts, in different national contexts, helps to understand how their re signification has been able to evidence, to strengthen or to legitimize positions in the local political agendas.

We cordially invite researchers from different disciplines and latitudes who have research and reflection articles, bibliographic and book reviews, to participate in the next issue of our journal. You can send your manuscripts directly to Guest Editors <emmanuel.kahan@gmail.com>, <lorenacardonagonzalez@gmail.com>
